Unhappy faces, lost dreams
Pessimistic eyes, terrified teans
Those children working day and night,
All they want to do is scream
At an age when they are supposed to learn,
But the situation forces them to earn
They are enclosed in darkness,
Their souls beg for happiness
Some stuck in work making them blind
Others wondering if destiny could ever be kind
For the dusty feet that have never felt
the touch of a warm shoe
And for those little hearts who wake up every morning just to experience all shades of blue.
Let’s do society one big favour
and stop child labour.
A.
